The petitioner has filed the present application under Sections 439 and 440 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail in connection with Khiri More P.S. Case No. 102 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 37 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering that all the offences alleged under the Indian Penal Code are bailable in nature and the only nonbailable offence is section 37 of the Excise Act, the petitioner, who is in custody since 19.12.2019, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5000/- (five thousand) with
