The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 578 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

As per prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of being involved in the forgery of the seal and signature of the State Fire Officer.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

No.19577 of 2025(3) dt.30-07-2025 2/3 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against him and has falsely been implicated in the present case case, having no role in granting the provisional certificate, which was processed and issued by co-accused Umashankar Kumar. The petitioner, a vendor of ARCHO Fire Services Pvt. Ltd., merely made an online payment for seal preparation. No offence is made out against him, and the police are acting with malafide intent. There are no independent witness to the search and seizure memo which is in violation of Section 103(4) of the B.N.S.S. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Other coaccused has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 08-04-2025, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 1264 of 2025. 5.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 6.

Considering the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Gandhi
