The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Islampur PS case no. 332 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of illicit countrymade liquor from the place of occurrence but the petitioner had managed to flee away from the spot and the villagers had informed the police that the petitioner was one of the persons who have fled away from the spot from where the liquor was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15723 of 2019(2) dt.26-03-2019 2/2 present case, he is having clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 01.02.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. 3rd-cumSpecial Judge, Nalanda in connection with Islampur PS case no. 332 of 2018.
