This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 547 of 2021 registered under sections 30(a), 30(c), 32(2), 32(3), 34, 36 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 562 litres of country made liquor and 1.08 litres of foreign liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 11.01.2023. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15951 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing one year in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise Act, Patna City in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 547 of 2021.

The petitioner will visit Chowk Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
