The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Ratanpura P.S. Case No. 26 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 342, 323, 366A/511 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case of the prosecution is that two persons had come to the house of the informant and unsuccessfully tried to abduct his daughter and thereafter, the people of the locality had apprehended the said two accused persons and kept them confined in the mohalla. The further case of the prosecution is that when the talks for settlement had failed the petitioner and other co-accused persons had come there and fled away with the said accused person said to have been apprehended by the people of the

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as far as the petitioners are concerned, no allegation of abduction of the daughter of the informant has been leveled against them. The petitioners have clean antecedent and are in custody since 16.05.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I find that this is fit case in which the petitioners should be released on bail.

Accordingly, the above named, petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Birpur (Supaul) in connection with Ratanpura P.S.
