Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to FIR, some other candidate had appeared in the physical test for appointment on the post of constable, impersonating himself as this petitioner. This fact was detected, FIR has been lodged. Petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2018.
