The petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report of Bahera P.S.Case No.457 of 2012 dated 14.12.2014 registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 341, 323 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.
In that view of the matter, I find no merit in the present application.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
