The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No.457 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Recovery of illicit liquor has not been made from possession of the petitioner but from the river bank. The name of the petitioner has not been disclosed by any of the accused persons but by the police. The petitioner has clean antecedents.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

No.14162 of 2022(2) dt.11-04-2022 2/2 Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Court No.1-cum- Additional District & Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No.457 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

It is directed that the petitioner will appear in Bidupur Police Station on the first Sunday of every month till trial of this case is not disposed of.
