The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jamui P.S. Case No.534 of 2018 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that the petitioner being Revenue Karamchari issued rent receipt in favour of Anil Kumar without the order of mutation passed in favour of Anil Kumar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that rent receipt is said to have been issued in the year 1999-2000. The F.I.R. was lodged on 10.10.2018. The petitioner has already been superannuated. The petitioner issued rent receipt on the oral order of the Circle Officer in anticipation of the order

Taking into consideration the fact that for the occurrence of 1999-2000, the case is lodged after about 18 years of the occurrence, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No.534 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
