JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 I have perused the report submitted by the Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Saran at Chapra in compliance of this Court's order, dated 06.03.2017, from which it appears that the petitioner had escaped from the Observation Home and was subsequently produced by his guardian.

The petitioner is accused of the offence punishable under Sections 413 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code in Baniyapur P.S. case No. 237 of 2016.

He is aggrieved by refusal of his application for bail by the Juvenile Justice Board and rejection of appeal by the learned First Additional Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra. Considering the conduct of the petitioner, I do not find it to be a fit case for interference with the impugned orders passed

by the learned First Additional Sessions Judge and the Juvenile Justice Board.

This application is rejected.

It is, however, observed that the Juvenile Justice Board, Saran at Chapra, must conclude the enquiry under Section 14 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

If the enquiry under Section 14 of the Act is not concluded by the Juvenile Justice Board, Saran at Chapra, within the aforesaid period of three months, the petitioner may renew his prayer for his release on bail before appropriate forum in accordance with law.
