2. This modification petition has been filed by the petitioner for the extension of time for furnishing bail bond as also to modify the order dated 02.01.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 46239 of 2022.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons given by the petitioner in paras 2 and 3 of his affidavit which read as follows: "2. That it is pertinent to submitted and stated here that after passing the order by this Hon'ble Court on dated 02.01.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 46239 of 2023, the petitioner deposited the Rs. Twenty Five Thousand (Rs. 25,000/-) on dated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30111 of 2023(6) dt.20-03-2024 2/3 24.01.2023 in State Bank of India in the name of Bihar State Legal Service Committee at Patna High Court Campus Branch and received the Bank Demand Draft.

3. That it is submitted that after receive of Demand Draft of Rs. Twenty Five Thousand (Rs. 25,000/-) the petitioner due to lack of knowledge approached before Bihar State Legal Service Authority, Patna at Budha Marg in place of Bihar State Legal Service Committee at Patna High Court Campus, the petitioner was directed to deposit the money in the name of Bihar State Legal Service Authority, then after cancelling the aforesaid Bank Draft of Bihar State Legal Service Committee, the petitioner deposited the aforesaid amount in the name of Bihar State Legal Service Authority, Patna on dated 31.01.2023 and receive the receipt on dated 31.01.2023."

4. In that view of the matter, the modification

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30111 of 2023(6) dt.20-03-2024 3/3 application (Cr. Misc. No. 30111 of 2023) stands allowed.

5. The period for surrender is extended by further four weeks.
