The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 583 of 2018 arising out of Special Case No. 11300 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 10 liters of illicit country made liquor and 7 kgs. of Mahua flower from the house of the petitioner, apart from recovery of instruments required for distilling the liquor.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13865 of 2019(2) dt.06-03-2019 2/2 and is languishing in custody since 28.11.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 583 of 2018 arising out of Special Case No. 11300 of 2018.
