JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-04-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with C. I. Case No. 26 of 2011 registered under Sections 47(a) and (f) of Excise Act.

Regard being had to the recovery of the illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Kanchan/- U T
