JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 162 of 2017, registered for offences punishable under Sections 20, 22, 23 and 24 of NDPS Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 6 KG of Charas.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and has no criminal antecedent and has been in judicial custody since 28.03.2017. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides, considering the fact and circumstances of the case and also the fact that in this case huge quantity of charas has been recovered, as such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, his application for regular bail is,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49024 of 2017 (3) dt.09-11-2017 accordingly, rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude as soon as possible.
