This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Bettiah Muffasil PS Case No. 667 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 337, 338, 354 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b) and 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned senior counsel representing the petitioner referring to the prosecution case submits that petitioner is member of the mob and there is no specific overt act alleged against the petitioner. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in jail custody since 08.12.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal
