2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhargama P.S. Case No. 248 of 2023 registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 354(B), 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 15.09.2023 by the informant, Pappu Kumar Paswan.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that when he along with his father had gone to see the bamboo clumps situated on his land, this petitioner as also other accused persons assaulted. A panchayti was arranged but in the meantime, the accused persons armed variously came and

No.21152 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/3 specific allegation is against this petitioner of giving 'iron rod' blow upon the head of Gulshan Kumar causing injury, he became unconscious, was taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital. The condition was found to be critical. The allegation is against other accused persons of assaulting the informant's family members. Accordingly, the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has tried to draw the attention of the Medical Board to show that technically the injuries does not seem to be serious.

5. However, learned APP for the State submits that not only the allegation of repeated 'iron rod' blow is attributed to this petitioner, the nature of injury has been found to be grievous in nature.

6. In the aforesaid background, the petitioner seeks bail. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

7. Mr. Kundan Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is an old persons and as such, would like to surrender before the Court in next four weeks and seek bail.

8. If he surrenders within a period of four weeks, the concerned Court shall take appropriate steps and pass an order
