The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No.235 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 498A, 307, 326, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Act. 3.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have brutally assaulted to his wife, namely, Sadhna Devi, by means of scissors, knife and sword in intoxicating condition. It is further alleged that this petitioner inserted scissors and knife into private part and eyes of his wife.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been

It is submitted that victim/wife of the petitioner does not wants to live with this petitioner. It is further submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and he is in custody since 18.05.2023.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

In view of the submissions, as made above, as it appears from perusal of FIR that this petitioner came in house and brutally assaulted his wife and inserting scissors and knife in private part of his wife, where, injury report corroborate the allegation as alleged in FIR, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.
