JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 05-03-2019 Petitioner has approached this Court for a direction upon the respondents to consider his claim of compassionate appointment pursuant to recommendation made by the District Compassionate Selection Committee, Patna under Memo no. 2006 dated 19.7.2011.

Respondents have filed their counter affidavit. Stand has been taken that the father of the petitioner died on 4.12.2009. As per the extant provision, the ward of deceased employee who died in harness prior to 4.9.2013 have already been offered appointment. Since no further vacancies are vacant claim of the petitioner who was lower in priority could not be

It is not clear whether sufficient number of vacancies are available for petitioner's appointment or not.
