Petitioner is in custody in connection with Mozahidpur (Babarganj) P.S. Case No. 137 of 2019 for the offence under section 25(1-B)a, 26 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on search one loaded country made pistol with live cartridge and two mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
The petitioner is in custody since 18.5.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year , the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12758 of 2020(2) dt.05-06-2020 2/2 five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur, in connection with Mozahidpur (Babarganj) P.S. Case No. 137 of 2019 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner has to render his service as volunteer in Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month to combat Covid-19 and he is required to report to the district Civil Surgeon/Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
