Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Dehri (Town) P.S. Case No. 629 of 2016 for the offence under section 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 40 liters of liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liquor was seized from a abandoned line hotel in the national highway. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the line hotel on national highway was closed, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC.
