2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dumariya P.S. Case No. 76 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 127(2), 115(2), 74, 109, 76, 352, 351(1) of the BNS and under Section 8/12 of the POCSO Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of entering the house of the informant and had tried to outrage the modesty of his sister, who is a minor. He is also alleged to have tried to kill her.
4. The petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2025 and it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15687 of 2026(3) dt.25-06-2026 2/2 that the matter has been settled between the parties.
5. Considering the aforesaid, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move the Court below afresh and if the informant supports the compromise in the Court below then the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court below in connection with Dumariya P.S. Case No. 76 of 2025.
6. It is made clear that if the informant does not supports the factum of compromise then appropriate orders shall be passed by the Court below.
