JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 01-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the Bihar School Education Board and learned counsel for the respondent-State.

2. With the consent of the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

3. In the present writ application, the petitioners have prayed for the grant of following reliefs:

2/4 "(a) For issuance of a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, or direction/ directions to the Respondent Board to consider the submission of the Objection Form raised by the Petitioners through the Official Portal in Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET)- 2025 conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).

(b) For a direction to Respondent Board to consider the Objection and rectify the anomalies in the evaluation process of the said test.

(c) For a direction to Respondent Board to provide Revised Answer Key of the Petitioners after considering his Objection Form.

(d) For further quashing and setting aside the Result/ Score Card of the Petitioners as contained in Annexure- P/5 published by the Respondent Board and further be pleased to direct Respondent Board to publish a fresh Result/Score Card of the Petitioners after considering the objections raised by the Petitioners.

(e) For further pass any other order/orders in shape of consequential relief to the Petitioners may be found to legally entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the instant case."

After advancing some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for seeking the aforesaid reliefs, the petitioners are prepared to file a fresh representation before the Examination Controller, Bihar School Examination Board (respondent no. 5). He further prays that an appropriate direction be issued to the Examination Controller, Bihar School Examination Board (respondent no. 5) to dispose of the representation which would be filed by the petitioners within a fixed time frame, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. To the aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel appearing for respondent-State and learned counsel appearing for respondentBSEB do not have any objection.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the Examination Controller, Bihar School Examination Board (respondent no. 5) within one week from today. If such a representation is filed within the stipulated time then the Examination Controller, Bihar School Examination Board (respondent no. 5) is directed to dispose of the same

4/4 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the representation, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. Needless to emphasize that the final order which shall be passed by the Examination Controller, Bihar School Examination Board (respondent no. 5) should be a reasoned and speaking order. It is clarified that in case, the petitioners are found entitled to the relief which they would be claiming through the representation, the same should be extended to the petitioners within a further period of one months from the date of disposal of the representation.

7. With the aforesaid observation/direction and liberty granted, this writ application is disposed of. All pending interlocutory application(s), if any, shall also be deemed to have been disposed of.
