JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-03-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 05.12.2019, seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 10908 of 2019 arising out of P.R. Case No. 255 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(1), 32(3), 41(1) and 41(2) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act.

The petitioner was driving a white coloured Maruti Zen car which was intercepted and 150 litres of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner has clean antecedents and his period of

No.14222 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 10908 of 2019 arising out of P.R. Case No. 255 of 2019. The application stands allowed.
