The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 387, 307, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Accusation is of demanding extortion and resorting to firing.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is counter version of the occurrence. It is further submitted that the informant has retracted from the initial version and filed a petition to that effect before learned court below. Statement has been made in para-3 of the petitioner that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16231 of 2015 (2) dt.17-04-2015 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa P.S. Case No. 852 of 2014, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
