This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for modification of the order, dated 02.05.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79540 of 2018 by this Court with regard to extension of period of surrender of the petitioner in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 377 of 2018, pending in the Court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghat at Gaya.

It appears that vide order, dated 02.05.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79540 of 2018 the petitioner in the event of his surrender within six weeks from the date of the aforesaid order, was granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail by this Court in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 377 of 2018, pending in the Court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14786 of 2020(2) dt.07-07-2020 2/2 Sherghat at Gaya, but, for the reasons, mentioned in this application, the petitioner could not surrender before the Court, concerned, within the stipulated period, as granted by this Court. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for modification of the order, dated 02.05.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79540 of 2018 by this Court in this regard.

Let the period of surrender of the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case before the Court, concerned, be extended for a further period of six weeks from today. The order, dated 02.05.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 79540 of 2018 by this Court is modified to aforesaid extent only.
