JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 26-03-2019 The petitioner, who is a Chaukidar has been suspended by the District Magistrate, Purnea (respondent No. 3) vide Memo No. 1908 dated 01.09.2018 for having demanded an amount of Rs. 2000/- for undertaking verification of some documents of the concerned person. An enquiry also has been ordered.

It further appears from the writ petition that with respect to such demand of bribe, an F.I.R also has been instituted against the petitioner, in which the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.4482 of 2019(2) dt.26-03-2019 2/2 claims to be on bail.

However, there is no occasion for this Court to revoke the order of suspension or direct the District Magistrate, Purnea (respondent No. 3) to allow the petitioner to continue working as Chaukidar, as has been prayed in the writ petition. No good ground has been raised in this petition for this Court to interfere.

There is no merits in the writ petition and it is dismissed accordingly.
