2. Mr. Sunil Kumar, learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that in compliance with the order of

Patna High Court MJC No.781 of 2025(4) dt.14-11-2025 2/2 this Court, finally deducted amount of gratuity has been paid to the petitioner but almost after a delay of twenty months without there being any interest over the delayed payment of deducted amount, which kept in the Bank and earned interest over it.

3. Learned Advocate for the State taking this Court through the order under contempt submitted that there is no confrontation that some procedural delay has occurred, however, there was no such direction for payment of interest over the delayed amount.

4. Be that as it may, considering the submissions advanced, the contempt petition stands closed.

5. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file appropriate application before the competent authority for the interest over the delayed payment.
