JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-02-2023 Though the present writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of order dated 09.03.2011, passed by the Collector, Gopalganj, whereby and whereunder, the license for non-judicial stamp seller bearing License No. 2 of 2004, qua the petitioner has been cancelled, however, it is apparent from the impugned order dated 09.03.2011 that since the petitioner did not file any application for renewal of the license, the license had stood expired automatically, nonetheless, the learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that in case the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6127 of 2015(4) dt.27-02-2023 2/2 petitioner applies for grant of fresh license, the same would be considered sympathetically, in accordance with law, to which the Ld.Counsel for the petitioner has responded by submitting that the petitioner be granted liberty to apply for grant of fresh license.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off, however, with liberty to the petitioner to apply for grant of fresh license for selling non-judicial stamp and in case, such an application is made within a period of four weeks from today, the Collector, Gopalganj, shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
