The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 14.100 liters of Nepali Saufi Wine were recovered from the possession of the petitioners. Petitioner claims their antecedent to be clean and he is in custody since 01.06.2017.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33858 of 2017() dt.20-07-2017 2/2 Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District & Sessions Judge No.II-cumSpecial Judge Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No.213/17.

Further, if the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
