2. The present writ petition has been filed for considering the case of the petitioner for granting honorarium worth of Rs.31,100/- as similarly situated other persons have been granted vide letter No.217 dated 04.02.2019 and further issue direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for granting honorarium worth of Rs.31,100/- w.e.f. 04.02.2019 and further issue direction to the respondent grant differences arrears of the honorarium w.e.f. 04.02.2019.

3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed his representation before the Civil Surgeon -cum- Member Secretary, District T.B. Control Committee, Katihar, but no decision has been taken as yet.

4. In the light of the submissions, counsel for the State

Patna High Court CWJC No.5116 of 2020(3) dt.20-04-2024 2/2 submits that the counter-affidavit has been filed and stand has been taken that the petitioner has been appointed on contractual basis by the office of District. T.B. -cum- Member Secretary, T.B. Control Committee, Katihar whereas he is demanding the salary payable to the employees appointed by State Health Society.

5. In any view of the matter, the representation filed by the petitioner, has not been disposed off till date. As such, this Court hereby directs the respondent No.4 (the Civil Surgeon -cum- Chief Medical Officer, Katihar) to pass reasoned order on the representation filed by the petitioner and the petitioner is directed to file fresh representation within 4 weeks from today and respondent No.4 shall pass order within 90 days thereafter. Since general election of Lok Sabha, 2024 has been notified, therefore, 90 days shall be counted after end of the election.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application is hereby disposed off.
