2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 376, 354, 323, 506, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner and the informant were studying in the same tuition class where a friendship developed between them. It is alleged that on false promise of marriage, this petitioner established physical relation with the informant and subsequently, refused to marry her. The Victim in her statement, recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., has supported the prosecution case.
