2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kursela P.S. Case No. 90 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 386 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioner is alleged to be member of a gang which was asking for extortion. The petitioner is in jail since 25.04.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and also the period of custody of the petitioner, which is from 25.04.2023, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge III, Katihar in connection with Kursela P.S. Case No. 90 of 2020.

7. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Tikkapati Police Station, Purnea on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
