JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-10-2017 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 95 of 2017, registered for offences punishable under Sections 326, 307 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the victim girl by repeated knife blow, when she refused the petitioner's proposal of marriage.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is allegation of assault against the petitioner to the victim girl, however, all the injuries found on the person of the girl was found to be simple in nature and for that he has sufficiently been punished as he has been in judicial custody for last eight months. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

No.45789 of 2017 (3) dt.10-10-2017 Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that petitioner gave repeated knife blows to the victim girl, as such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, his application for regular bail is accordingly rejected.
However, the court below is directed to expedite the commitment of case and once commitment is done try to conclude the trial within a period of six months even by conducting the trial on day to day basis.
