JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-10-2024 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file fresh application for grant of arms licence, as per the provisions contained in the Arms Rules, 2016, however, seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Supaul to consider the same and pass appropriate order expeditiously. Liberty so sought is granted.
2. It is needless to state that in case appropriate application, for grant of arms licence, is filed by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Supaul, in accordance with the provisions contained in the Arms Rules, 2016, within a period of four weeks from today, the District Magistrate, Supaul shall consider the same on merits and take a final decision thereon, in
Patna High Court CWJC No.4345 of 2022(3) dt.22-10-2024 2/2 accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
