Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other family members committed torture on the informant due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand.
Petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law and the petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law of the informant.

No.14592 of 2023(2) dt.16-05-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and the allegation against these petitioners in general and omnibus in nature. It is further submitted that the petitioners are separate in mess and business. Thrust of allegation is against the husband of the informant. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Arwal or his successor where the case is pending in connection with Karpi P.S.
