1. Heard Mr. Abhishek Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the informant and Mr. Madhura Nand Jha, learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 14 of 2023, arising out of Sasaram Nagar P.S. Case No. 359 of 2022 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 498A, 304B and 302 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that this is third attempt of the petitioner to get the relief of regular bail and his last (second) attempt was rejected vide order dated 26.04.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6939 of 2024 directing the trial court to expedite and conclude the trial of petitioner in the next nine months from the date of that rejection order and petitioner was given a liberty to renew his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13288 of 2025(3) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 bail prayer if his trial is not concluded in the said nine months period and in view of this liberty, the petitioner has renewed his prayer. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 07.05.2022.

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the informant submits that the trial of the petitioner is at the verge of ending as out of eight prosecution witnesses, seven have been examined and earlier the trial court remained vacant for three months and now, the Presiding Officer has joined the trial court and the trial of the petitioner may be concluded very soon.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and having perused the report of trial court, this court finds that the trial of the petitioner is at the verge of ending, so, at this stage, it will not be proper to enlarge the petitioner on bail, therefore, his prayer stands rejected with giving the direction to the trial court to complete the trial of the petitioner at the earliest preferably in the next three months from the date of receipt of this order's copy.
