The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chandauti P.S. Case No.53 of 2015 registered under Sections 420, 409, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya.

The accusation is that the petitioner being the cashier in the Electric Supply Division, Gaya, got several documents including the cheques signed by the informant, hurriedly. Later on, it was detected that the petitioner has got the signature on a cheque amounting to Rs.3,63,777/- in his favour. On verification, it was also detected that earlier the petitioner had also deposited

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18364 of 2015 (3) dt.02-07-2015 2/2 Rs.7678/- in his Bank Account.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within four weeks and prayer for regular bail, which shall be considered by the trial court on its own merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
