JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 05-04-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody since 11.01.2018, seeks bail in connection with Chautarwa P.S.Case No. 21 of 2003 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 341, 447, 307 and 302 of the Indian penal Code.

Petitioner has remained absconding for last 15 years as the date of occurrence is 12.02.2003 and there is allegation against the petitioner of assaulting the deceased.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had gone to Punjab to earn his livelihood, therefore, he could not surrender.

Having considered the period of evading arrest for last 15 years, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.
