In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:
"That widow-petitioner INVOKES THE WRIT JURISDICTION of this Hon'ble Court to direct the respondents No. 03 and 04 in particular to pay the arrears of the amount of Rs.6,78,446.00 (Six lakhs, seventy eight thousand, four hundred and forty six) against the grant of the Ist A.C.P. (Assured Career Progression) and the arrears of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.4664 of 2022 dt.20-04-2022 2/3 amount of Rs.61,753/- (Sixty one thousands, seven hundred and fifty three) against the compulsory Group Insurance to her on behalf of her deceased husband namely Late Chandra Mohan Singh who died in harness on 20.10.2019.
Despite several REPRESENTATIONS furnished to the competent authorities, no relief was granted to the petitioner i.e., why, this application is preferred to this Hon'ble Court, vide the REPRESENTATIONS dated 21.01.2021, 17.09.2021 and 01.02.2022 as annexures in series."
Respondent nos. 3 and 4 are required to redress the grievance of the petitioner. Petitioner's husband Late Chandra Mohan Singh died when he was in service on 20.10.2019, all the monetary benefits have not been settled by the respondents. Therefore, petitioner submitted representations dated 21.01.2021, 17.09.2021 and 01.02.2022. Thus, there is inaction on the part of the respondent nos. 3 and 4 in not redressing the petitioner's grievance.
Accordingly, respondent nos. 3 and 4 are hereby
Patna High Court CWJC No.4664 of 2022 dt.20-04-2022 3/3 directed to redress the grievance of the petitioner, if the deceased Late Chandra Mohan Singh fulfills the requisite criteria read with his service particulars. If he is entitled for the relief, monetary benefits shall be calculated and disbursed in favour of the petitioner alongwith the interest at the rate of 6% per annum. If the deceased Late Chandra Mohan Singh is not entitled to the relief sought by the petitioner in respect of his benefits, in that event, a necessary detailed speaking order shall be passed with reference to his service particulars and the relevant criteria. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. With the above observation, the present petition stands disposed of.
