JUSTICE JITENDRA MOHAN SHARMA ORAL ORDER 11-04-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner wants to renew his prayer for bail which was earlier rejected vide orders dated 11.01.2016 and 14.09.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. Nos. 51438 of 2015 and 39488 of 2016 respectively, on the ground that the petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2015 and up till now no prosecution witness has been examined and as such in near future the trial is not likely to be concluded.

The learned A.P.P. submits that the petitioner is the assailant.

In the facts and circumstances stated above, finding no good ground for reconsideration of prayer for bail,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19663 of 2018 (2) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 again prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 185 of 2016 arising out of Salkhua P.S. Case No. 246 of 2014 pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-II, Saharsa.

However, considering detention of the petitioner let the trial be expedited and concluded as early as possible preferably within six months.
