JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-10-2025 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned ASG assisted by learned CGC for the Union of India.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with NDPS G.R. Case No. 9 of 2024 arising out of NCB Case No. PZU/V/02 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)©, 23, 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 206.400 kgs of Ganja has been recovered from the petitioner.

4. Pursuant to the orders of this Court, the Zonal Director, NCB has appeared in this Court and through the learned ASG he has informed this Court that out of 10 witnesses, 8 have been examined and the remaining two

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17506 of 2025(7) dt.10-10-2025 2/2 witnesses will be examined soon.

5. In view of the submission of the learned ASG for the UOI that the trial of the petitioner is on the verge of completion and considering the quantum of recovery, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The personal appearance of the Zonal Director, NCB is dispensed with.
