1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to grant and pay the petitioner salary and monetary benefits of his promotion on the post of Live Stock Supervisor with effect from 05.02.1987 i.e. with effect from the date he has been granted promotion on the post and the permissible 12% and up to Rs. 150 enhanced pay fixation on account of his promotion.
(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus
Patna High Court CWJC No.14712 of 2021(2) dt.20-12-2023 2/3 commanding and directing the respondent authorities to grant and pay the petitioner salary and monetary benefits of his promotion on the post of Live Stock Inspector with effect from 05.02.1992 i.e. with effect from the date he has been granted promotion on the post.
(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to grant the petitioner regular promotion on the post of Assistant Fodder Development Officer with effect from 05.02.1997 i.e. with effect from the date he became eligible and entitle for such promotion with all monetary and consequential benefits. (iv) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities that on grant of all the above reliefs revise the salary, pension and all retiral benefits of petitioner and pay him arrears of salary, arrears of pension and arrears of retiral benefits along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum."
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought
Patna High Court CWJC No.14712 of 2021(2) dt.20-12-2023 3/3 is granted.
3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
