1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The instant application has been filed praying for modification of the order dated 20.12.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.85955 of 2024 whereby while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case no.443 of 2024, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for reasons beyond his control and as stated in the petition, the petitioner could not surrender within the aforesaid time and as such the instant petition. It is further submitted that in compliance of the directions of this Court, cost of Rs.5,000/ has been deposited with the Patna High Court Legal Services

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16368 of 2025(3) dt.18-04-2025 2/2 Committee vide receipt no.2400 dated 9.4.2025 and the receipt is produced for being taken on record.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order.

5. The application is allowed.

6. The order dated 20.12.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.85955 of 2024 is modified to the extent that the time granted therein for the petitioner to surrender in the learned Court below is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

7. The remaining part of the order shall remain unchanged.
