2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harnaut (Telmar) P.S. Case No. 71 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 323, 307, 387, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. From reading the FIR, it appears that there was some dispute with regard to Nal Jal Yojana and the petitioner has been made accused in this case because of the same. The allegations against the petitioner are that he was creating hurdle in execution of the work and was also demanding extortion.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 29.08.2023.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Nalanda, Biharsharif in connection with Harnaut (Telmar) P.S. Case No. 71 of 2020.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Harnaut Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
