The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 272, 273 of the I.P.C. and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

783 liters of Nepali Saufi wine has been recovered from Scorpio vehicle and one co-accused Ram Chandra Mehra was arrested on spot, who disclosed the name of petitioner and others, who brought the aforesaid consignment. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner was neither owner nor driver of the said vehicle and has got no concern with the seized liquor. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 10.02.2022. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
