The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking prearrest bail in connection with Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case No. 1426 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406/420/467/468 of I.P.C.

As per the prosecution story, the allegation against the petitioner is that he witnessed a sale-deed which was executed by allegedly forging the signature of grandmother of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has no concern with the alleged forgery.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

No.18133 of 2023(2) dt.05-06-2023 2/2 Having regard to the seriousness of the allegations wherein this court has noticed that the allegation against the petitioner is that he witnessed a sale-deed which was executed by allegedly forging the signature of the grandmother of the informant, this court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is, thus, refused.

This application is dismissed.
