Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner is husband of the complainant.

There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Petitioner is in custody since 17.11.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on provisional bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5334 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Dhaka Police Station Case No.101 of 2016. The learned court below shall take step for reconciliation. If the petitioner would be found noncooperating in the reconciliation proceeding, the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. If the reconciliation would fail due to lapses on the part of the wife-complainant, the court below shall confirm the bail bond of the petitioner.
