The petitioner seeks bail in Darauli P.S. Case No.155 of 2016 registered under Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1983. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 110 gram of Charas was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The quantity of the recovered Charas is of course less than the commercial quantity, for that the petitioner is in jail since 26.10.2016. The petitioner has remained in jail for more than one year and six months. The prayer of the bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected on the ground that the petitioner has got criminal antecedents but since the petitioner has remained in jail for more than one year and six months and also the trial has not yet been concluded, the petitioner above named, is directed to be enlarged
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10206 of 2018 (2) dt.25-04-2018 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Siwan, in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No.155 of 2016.
