This is an application seeking quashing of the First Information Report of Danapur P.S. Case No. 193 of 2015, dated 03.04.2015, which has been
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16755 of 2016(3) dt.04-11-2020 2/3 registered under Sections 406, 420, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
On 10.09.2020, this Court had called for a report from the Court below about the stage of the case.
The report, which has been received in this Court, indicates that the final report/charge-sheet has not yet been filed.
It is extremely shocking to learn that investigation has been kept pending in a case which has been instituted in the year 2015. Without wasting any time, the investigating agency is directed to complete the investigation and submit a report before the Court below within a period of three months from today.
If the petitioners would feel aggrieved by the report of the police or any order passed by the Court on such report, they can take recourse to the remedies which are available to them under the law and to which they are entitled.
