2. The petitioners seeks bail in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 326 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and other accused persons are said to have thrown acid on the informant and his brother.
4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the father of the petitioners were innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation of throwing acid against these petitioners. Petitioners are in custody since 24.11.2025. There is case and counter case and also there is admitted land dispute between the parties.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14711 of 2026(2) dt.25-02-2026 2/2 Similarly situated co-accused person has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 06.05.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27069 of 2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Gopalganj/concerned Court in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024.
7. As a condition of this order, the petitioners, after being released on bail are directed to co-operate in the trial either by appearing personally or through their lawyer in the trial Court on each and every date fixed in the trial. Noncompliance of the condition will result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioners.
